Engineers, plant scientists, soil scientists, policymakers, architects, designers, government officials, NGO workers, illustrators and artists devel- oped innovative approaches to problem-solving in sustainability and ecology.
Eight publications were designed from the participants’ outputs of the workshop Fictional Exploration of Circular Bionutrient Economy at The Soil Factory, Ithaca. Innovative and humorous narrations address the need to upcycle human excreta to agricultural fertilizers.
