JULIUS KOLLER

BRATISLAVA (CHEZ) / BERLIN (GER) 2005

In the summer of 2005 I become acquainted with the Slovak artist Július Koller in Bratislava by coincidence. He gives me his card which describes him as »U.F.O. - naut J.K., Artist«. We would like to stay in contact and promise to »kollerborate« and mutually to »faxen« (in German »Faxen machen« means joking), since Július does not have an Internet link . Since his handwriting pleases me so well, I ask him to send me the large and small alphabet and the numbers. From his handwriting the font »Julius Koller« develops. Július Koller died in 2007.
